Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc5. Fresher, more medicinal/mineral palate. The acidity comes out from behind a mass of sweetness to grab the palate and hold it. Good length. Creamy, honeyed, citric, it’s got the lot. But hard drinking beyond the first glass-17
Marcel Orford-Williams: Much more acidity, and a flavor of baked apple. Much more character here and maybe not quite ready. Lovely finish-16
Joanna Simon: Bright, golden. Rich, honeyed, marmalady; lots of botrytis on the nose. Very intense, concentrated palate; dried apricot fruit, with essential high acidity. Long. A very fine SGN -16.5
