Andrew Jefford: Glowing mid-gold. Definitive richness and unction here: butter, oak, botrytis, nuts, cream ... even the aromas seem calorie-laden. Very attractive and classically enticing. Rich, amply constituted and hugely seductive on the palate: a great barge of sugar, cream, lanolin, oak, lees, almond paste, apricot, peach, and pineapple. Grand, benchmark Sauternes for the mid-term. Now to 2028. 93
Stephen Brook: Light gold. Subdued oaky nose, with waxy stone-fruits aromas. Good attack, with lifted fruit and a creamy texture backed by fine acidity. Yet it lacks a little drive and tension, and may be going through a closed stage in its evolution. The fruit quality is excellent yet the structure seemed muted now. Suduiraut rarely disappoints, so best to wait and see. 90
