Ella Lister: Very deep, entirely opaque red-brown. Ultraclassic Cabernet nose—graphite, menthol, almost Olbas Oil exhilaration on a deep sniff. The purest of cassis. Holds your nasal gaze. Rich, regal, mouth-filling, concentrated, yet with a freshness at its very core. Balanced. Big but not bulky. Not a classical Sassicaia style, perhaps, but indomitable. Dense yet refined tannins.
