Jasper Morris: Harvested September 7, 13.1% ABV, 30% whole-cluster, 100% new wood for 17 months. Full mid-orange color. A little bit vegetal on the nose now, but still quite full on the palate. Oak shows on the palate, and while this is still a good wine, it lacks the sheer class of most of the others in the range. Lots of sorting of the grapes was necessary, apparently.
