Rebecca Gibb: Savory, slightly meaty notes, with a touch of herbal hailing from the Cabernets. Smooth on entry and rather delicate on the palate, with 40% Merlot bringing welcome flesh. The finish shows another side to the wine, with its abundant chewy tannins that require some wrestling at the moment but will leave a finely structured, lithe wine with a structured framework in the years to come.
