Rebecca Gibb: Not giving a lot on the nose—you really have to work at this one right now—but there’s no mistaking the complexity here. The structure is all there, too: Intense concentration is packaged in a mid-weight, deeply satisfying whole, with expansive textural tannins that coat the palate. Combined with dark brooding flavors, spice, tea leaf, and plums, the wine is long, dense, and seductive. Drink 2020–35.
