Michael Schuster: Freshly ripe fruit, a touch of that wild-rose perfume; rich yet restrained middleweight, fresh in acidity, fine in tannin; fresh and sweet to taste, aromatic, subtly mouth-coating, almost Burgundian in character; intense yet subtle, with very fine tannins adding texture, richness, and breadth to the Margaux delicacy, and a lovely fragrant atertaste. 2026–40. 91–93
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Colorful, generous, certainly very classy but, as often, a bit slower in its evolution than its neighbors, and therefore a bit disadvantaged in primeur and blind tastings. Even after the unveiling of the wine, the tannins are a bit too firm. It will most surely get a better rating in a year. 95–96
