Jesús Barquín: Golden yellow, slightly cloudy, some fine dark sediment of dead flor. Complex and attractive nose with notes of aniseed, smoke, a subtle hint of noble oxidation in good harmony with aromas of flor. Good tension on the palate, balanced, savory, long: very good Manzanilla. 93

Andrew Jefford: Pale straw gold. Full, bready nose with a little lemony fruit and chamomile-flower beneath. A lovely rich bready mouthful on the palate, smooth to begin with then opening up gratifyingly; gently tangy; mouthwatering and enticing and exuberant. A very good en rama bottling. 90

Peter Liem: Bold and pungent on both nose and palate, with slightly lemony notes of flor. It’s assertive and exuberant, revealing in its en rama character, and it demonstrates the finesse and refinement imparted by flor aging. 92
