Jesús Barquín: Deep golden, slightly cloudy. Comparatively not a wine of intense aromas or flavors, but a dry mineral wine of serious structure and austerity. A Fino to go beautifully with raw or clean fish dishes rather than a show-stealer at a tasting. Sober, serious, which is not little. I personally think it a great wine. 95
Andrew Jefford: Mid- to full gold. A little bit cardboardy and tired to begin with. Later, mustard and yeast notes. Clean, vivid, and fresh, with plenty of depth here: limpid, clear, pure, and scrutable. Yeasty and mushroomy to finish. A good wine that might have got a top score with a more enticing aromatic profile. 86
Peter Liem: While this shows the unbridled character of en rama, it lacks a little complexity and refinement, presenting its flavors with a stark, bold intensity. It’s slightly high in alcohol on the finish, which would be mitigated with food. 86
