Jesús Barquín: Golden yellow. Very yeasty, but also a little one-dimensional. Hay bale marks the palate, with good structure and character. Long and pungent finish. 90

Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-gold. Earthy, appley aromas: unclassical, as if it contained Chenin Blanc. On the palate, this is loose, rough and ready, a bit of a lost soul; I can’t really recommend it as a benchmark for the style. 79

Peter Liem: This is intense in flavor, showing mature aromas of long aging under flor. There’s a hidden complexity and nuance on the palate, anchored by saline minerality, and the finish is long and fragrant. 92
