Jesús Barquín: Pale yellow. There is a balanced and properly aged wine here, recognizable even under the excessive filtration typical of commercial Finos. Good balance between aging and evolution, with maybe a tad more volume on the palate than is desirable in a well-aged Fino. 89
Andrew Jefford: Green-gold. Sweet, gingery scents. Simple, straightforward Jerez, fine, with some orchardfruit, some flor character, some spice, and some umami. Correct and delicious, though it lacks just a little intricacy, finesse, and nuance. But I’d still be very happy to be sitting down to enjoy half a bottle of this. 88
Peter Liem: This is full in body, with a supple, petrol-like undertone and a long, harmonious structure. It exhibits a great deal of personality, and it finishes with intensely saline flavors, persisting with fine length. 91
