Jesús Barquín: Golden, slightly cloudy. Serious nose, restrained but appealing, hay bale, a tad spirity. The palate is balanced, though it lacks a touch of liveliness to be excellent. Very dry finish. 92

Andrew Jefford: Full gold; clear hue. Attractive and classical aromas of fresh aldehyde tang with some breadiness beneath. A dusty bodega note, too. Frank, straightforward flavors, very much as the aroma sketched out. 82

Peter Liem: Deep in color, this is bold in presence and complex in flavor. Its savory notes indicate long aging under flor, and it finishes with concentrated length. 92
