Jesús Barquín: Golden yellow, slightly cloudy. This wine presents contrasting fruity (peachy) aromas and flavors of a younger wine together with oxidative looks and notes. For a Manzanilla, I miss longer biological aging. It does have personality, which is no mean feat. 89
Andrew Jefford: Light hued but old-gold in tone. Weighty and oxidized in style—let’s try another bottle. In this case, bottle two is slightly better, though the air has still got to the wine: clear and slightly raisiny. Smooth and clean on the palate, but lacks all the diagnostic freshnesses one would like. 80
Peter Liem: This is distinctively lemony in its flor character, underlined by the salinity of both solera aging and albariza soil. Its silky texture and subtle nuance reflect a long aging under flor, and it persists with quiet, detailed length and intensity on the finish. 91
