Jesús Barquín: Deep gold. Clean. Aromas of Mediterranean scrubland, rosemary, a vegetal note: pleasant. Very nice mouthfeel, great fresh Manzanilla. 93
Andrew Jefford: A light old-gold hue. Tangy and just a little bit flat: straw bales, honeycomb. Bottle 2: Still a gently oxidized style for me, without a lot of fresh lift and charm. On the palate, too, this is rather weighty and lifeless. It has the salty Sanlúcar style but seems like an older bottling, whereas en rama promises the opposite. 82
Peter Liem: This is savory and almost cacao-like in its flor character, increasing in intensity as it moves back on the palate. Its richness reflects long aging in barrel, as does its texture. 87
