Jesús Barquín:Bright mahogany with tawny rim. Mostly nutty on the nose, with a tarry and spicy note in the background. Unexpectedly, there is a marked orange-peel flavor that comes out on the palate together with evident sweetness. The alcohol is nicely integrated, and the wine shows a nice complexity. 92

Andrew Jefford:Limpid, bright, and clear. Sweet, teasing dry cherry, vanilla, apricot—a folded, creamy softness. Lots of charm and refinement, but a minty freshness, too. Pristine and limpid on the palate, with a big shower of complex sweetness: date, fig, apricot, buttered walnut, menthol, licorice root. Articulate, engaging, and beautifully cellarshepherded 30 Year Old. Lovely perfumes even on the aftertaste. 92

Richard Mayson:Attractive pale amber tawny, with a hint of orange; fine, slightly lifted herbal aromas, finely balanced; sweet and spicy, with a dusting of tannin and a lovely linear finish; not too sweet and beautifully poised overall. 94
