Michel Bettane: Pale color; refined and fruity nose. Not a blockbuster but a deliciously fruity and tender wine, very deftly made, in the most original Suduiraut style—a perfect blend between the fruity Barsac freshness and Sauternes opulence 17

Thierry Desseauve: Rich, ambitious volume; honey and overripe grapes. The wine doesn’t have the depth of the best vintages, but in this vintage, it is one of the best 17.5

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; fresh, youthful, undeveloped nose; rich, well-balanced, harmonious Sauternes, with a nicely balancing acidity and some complexity behind the richness and unctuousness. Intensely sweet, long; quite racy flavor, with clear botrytis subtlety and spice, and with excellent length; fine Sauternes, and complete in the year. Good already; years in hand. Now–2024+ 17.5
