Stephen Brook: Deep red, with some brick tones, but less evolved than Classic Claret. Subdued nose, with aromas of coffee, raisins, and mint, and some woodsmoke with aeration. Sleek on the palate, and still concentrated; certainly fresh, elegant, and lively, with an appealing delicacy and balance and an almost crisp finish. Good length. 18
