Stephen Brook: Deep red and still full on the rim, despite a slight brick tone. Muted nose, quite meaty and with a touch of molasses, but no oxidation. Terrific attack on the palate and quite remarkable sweetness of fruit and concentration, with well-integrated tannins. Super-ripe and intense, deliciously fresh and vibrant, with tremendous lift on the finish, which is harmonious and remarkably persistent. 18.5
