Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Amazing aromas; an expansive wine, fat and very fruity, but with good tension and quite elegant. Will age well. 17

Michael Schuster: Closed, but Semillon “waxy” nose; very nicely balanced, rich and elegant, with a keen defining acidity; very sweet, but also very fresh and long across the palate; mineral-infused and with great persistence, too. Not big, but complete and classy, with a notable overall harmony and poise, plus the usual smoothness and polish of texture. This should age very gracefully. A great Doisy–Daëne; a real Barsac beauty. 17.5
