BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: CO2 at the rim. Deep, inky purple. Concentrated, dense, oaky; quite backward. Lots of alcohol and fruit, but the wine is well balanced in its own style. Plush tannins, lots of plum/violet/blackberry fruit. Good acidity. A very modern style but nicely done. Minty, refreshing finish. 15.5

Alex Hunt: Dark, ripe, fairly intense nose, with a trace of volatility and some sophisticated oak. Youthful, concentrated; needs time to come together, but it is an impressively constituted wine. 16

Anthony Rose: Deep, dense, youthful ruby, brooding dark fruits and sweet, spicy oak on the nose. Lovely, sweet red fruits middle with good fresh acidity and supple tannins, both oak and tannins well-integrated into the blend, firm finish and backbone. Quite individual in style with good personality. 16
