Tim Atkin: Mid-purple. Soupy, alcoholic nose with some overripe, oxidative notes. Dry tannins, extracted finish. Hard to drink. 7

Alex Hunt: Perfumed, floral fruit aromas. The palate is on the jammier side—some surmaturité creeping in here—but it still offers some refreshment and balance, with well-proportioned tannins. 14.5

Anthony Rose: Deep, rich ruby hue. Quite sweet and blackcurranty nose, similarly sweet, ripe, rich, cassis-like flavors on the palate, with well-integrated oak, good acidity, and quite firm, chewy, slightly dry, hot tannins giving an overall chunky feel to this wine. 15.5
