AJ | Dark, purposeful black-red. Sweet and warm, but honestly a very simply constituted aromatic profile in present company. Chunky, dense and concentrated on the palate: super-solid delivery. Will time in the bottle bring added complexity? I'm not sure ... but anyway this is very satisfying right from the off and will bring a lot of straightforward drinking pleasure over the next decade.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2035. 88
MP | Currently closed with subtle notes of bread dough, cashew nuts, ginger, strawberry and black cherry. The palate shows real concentration of black fruit with cough drops, cherry, plum and currant joining the more exotic notes found on the nose. The oak is beautifully integrated and the tannins are firm but in harmony with the fruit. This needs another few years.Drink Dates: 2027 - 2033. 95
