Nicolas Belfrage: Medium color, quite developed. Nose of well- hung, very mature fruit. Old-style wine, a slight note of dried fruit, not to say bruised. Very correct but somewhat lacking in charm. 86
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny. Ripe nose of prune juice and oriental spices Sweet-fruit palate, with a simple overripe finish. 85

Just a gorgeous wine to drink, but it has real complexity and length, too. Some may feel the ripeness has been pushed a mite too far, but not me: I’m reveling in it. I can’t quite give it a top score because the overall effect is just a little sweet, but you are going to enjoy this wine, I’m sure ... 89
