Tim Atkin: Garnet, with a brick rim. Nicely mature color. Sandalwood and truffle nose. Palate showing a touch of oxidation and flatness, acidity adding some freshness, but this tastes like a wine that is on the wane. Dry tannins, slightly lacking in fruit. Intermediate. 12.5
Jesús Barquín: Deep cherry, bright rim. Still muted on both nose and palate (creamy notes, black fruit, moderate intensity), but with good structure: lively, with fine-grained tannin. Long, ripe cherry finish. Modern. 16.5
Marcel Orford-Williams: Fabulous fruit. Rich. Dark fruit. Meaty. Lovely middle and good length. Touch dry on the finish. Old-style. 16.5
