BUY THE WINE

Alison Buchanan: Very rich yellow–gold, this is rather more subdued on the nose. Perfumed and floral it lacks the vitality of the previous wine. The palate is better, very full and ripe with lively acidity allied to a sublime mineral focus. Poised and controlled this is supremely elegant…and also opulent and seductive – rather lovely. 16.5

Alex Hunt: Golden color and an opulent nose full of honey–oak. Unfortunately, this character dominates the palate; the fruit has got lost. 11.5

Andrew Jefford: Very full lemon–yellow now. Waxy and balsam–like, full of mountain herb scents: attractive and intricate. Quite weighty in the mouth, with a very full, rounded style of acidity and some of the herbal, minty notes evident on the nose. Oaked, too? If so, not obtrusively. Fully evolved now, but still highly articulate and graceful. Appealing wine. 16
