Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Harmonious, full, and round fruit. This Figeac revives its true nature—50% Cabernet Sauvignon—and seduces with racy fullness, great freshness, precise tannins, and persistent length. A remarkably complete and fine Figeac. | 18
Michael Schuster | Dense, closed, mineral, but also floral on the nose; very nicely balanced wine, with a good concentration for the vintage and firm but fine tannins; sapid and juicy to taste, some complexity, and with the year’s crisp acidity on the finish. You taste the freshness, vitality, and class of Cabernet Sauvignon, along with the grape’s structure, but there is not a hint of herbaceousness, and the wine has excellent length. Fairly long-term for the vintage, but not hard. 2022–32. | 16.5
