Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red, though no longer opaque. Corked. | NS

Michael Schuster | A fine, strawberry-sweet, fragrant nose; elegantly balanced, medium-full wine, with a nice concentration of fruit, a freshly defining acidity, and fine, dry tannin. Freshly sweet to taste, long, subtle, complex, and with lovely fragrant length; a splendid, complete, medium-term wine. It needs, ideally, a decade, but you could enjoy it earlier. Classy, refined, top-notch St-Emilion. 2030–40+. | 93
