Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red in appearance. Lively, enticing black-fruit scents with some fresh, vanillic oak. Juicier fruits here than in its sibling Hauts de Tertre. A splash of blackcurrant and sloe, just inching beyond bare ripeness toward sweetness; discreetly fleshed. Some anise on the mid-palate helps convey the aromatic style that lovers of the commune always hope for, and there are some tentative, fine-grained tannins. Classic claret in brisk style. | 87
Michael Schuster | Fresh red-fruit nose; light, fresh, very little tannin; gently sweet and juicy, modest complexity, but an easy, pleasing, very pretty lesser Margaux. Now to 2025+. | 87
