Andrew Jefford | Pale, almost silver-green. Very green and pure and reductive and restrained. Classy, with lime and vetiver, but it needs a spell in the cellar to begin to sing in four parts; very Hildegarde of Bingen just now. That’s what you get on the palate. It’s not actually “tight” but it is pure and reductive—the juicy, juicy essence of the grape itself—and it hasn’t developed huge complexity yet, though the purity, length, and Rieslingesque essence are hugely enjoyable. | 90
Stephan Reinhardt | Straw yellow in color, this is another pure and dusty, crunchy, limestone-scented, and rather coolish Riesling, with a ripe, intense, and concentrated fruit with spicy, stony notes. Silky and very elegant on the sapid and perfectly balanced palate, this is a linear, finely phenolic instead of “sour” full-bodied yet elegant Riesling: classic, with a long, well-structured, juicy, very mineral (salty) and tart finish. 2021–40. | 94
Anthony Rose | This is a pale greeny lemon in color, showing fresh citrus-peel and floral notes. A faint prickle on the tongue adds nice freshness to a full-bodied but refreshingly dry, distinctively fruity Riesling, whose tangy citrus-peel notes are nicely supported by a crisp, balancing freshness that verges on the mouthwatering. | 92
