Michel Bettane: Super-elegant nose, perfect oak integration, noble tannin; one of the great successes of the year; noble finish, great Chevalier. 18

Thierry Desseauve: Super-classy wine, with minerality and fruit, silky but tight tannins, great length, persistency. Absolutely impressive. 18.5

Michael Schuster: Ripe fruit and minerals to smell; a full yet elegant balance, a nice concentration of ripe fruit, a toothsome acidity, and a very fine-textured tannin; sweet-cored, finely fruity flavor, with a subtle gravelly character, restrained and fresh, with very nice length across the palate and with excellent aromatic length to finish. Notable freshness and transparency. Delightful Domaine de Chevalier. 2020–35+. 17+
