BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Saturated ruby to pink. Ripe black- and red-fruit nose, with black cherries, road tar, smoke, red meat, and aromatic herb undertones. Ripe on the palate, yet with quite high acidity, clean and long. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red; no longer opaque, but not far off. Richly earthy, spicy, and voluptuous, with very sweet, incense-freighted fruits. Plenty of exuberant, almost oriental appeal here. Deep, searching, very brightly acidic, with apple and red-currant and red-plum fruits, and soft tannins, too. Concentrated, bright, attention-grabbing wine in lively style with plenty to offer. | 89

Anthony Rose | Good youthful color; quite a bit of toasty oak on the nose; attractive dark-berry fruit flavors, quite concentrated, with a superficial veneer of toasty oak over dark cherry fruit; firmish, sinewy tannins and a quite dry, slightly extracted finish. | 88
