BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Ruby to tawny, pink. Open, ripe, and complex, with some oak, prunes, figs, crushed stones, and warm soil. Balanced on the palate, with layered tannins and a clean, prune and blackcurrant character. Long, clean, complex finish. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear black-red. Dry fruits with some wood-sweetness: elegant and open, warm and appealing, though not as multidimensioned as some. A little clumsy by comparison with the best of its peers on the palate, and a little dry and leathery-leafy in flavor, though nothing unripe here. This dryness with the acidity means an abrupt, almost tart finish, though the wine is still deep, concentrated, and satisfying. | 85

Anthony Rose | Mid-ruby; intriguing aromas, combining spice, a touch of smoke, a bit of red pepper; a rather savory feel to it, initially in sweet red fruit, quite juicy in texture, then rather extracted and drying in traditional mold. Quite powerful stuff. | 89
