Fresh, lively, subtle, with much better concentration than most of the wines in our Northern cohort; a very good wine in the clean and reductive style, and the intrinsic interest of the variety is in clear evidence here. Michael Palij | Powerful and complex nose, with white pepper, pear, melon, gooseberry, grapefruit pith and blossom. This follows through in the mouth with a fat mid-palate and attractive biscuity notes. Some length and a lick of acidity to shore up the fruit. | 86
