Nicolas Belfrage: Attractive berry cherry hinted at, not forceful, but develops. Good fruit-structure balance, quite penetrating at the back, tannins a bit grainy, but should age well. An elegant wine of some class. 91

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny. Clean, restrained, complex nose with fresh leather, orange peel, small red fruits, and dried prunes. Balanced palate with refined and firm tannins, long, refined, with clean, sweet red-fruit finish. A classy red wine with great aging potential. 94

Andrew Jefford: Clear, light black-red. Lots of warm fruit, but in slightly muddled and unresolved form. On the palate, by contrast, this is dense and close-knit with ambition to it; ripe in style; almost chocolaty to finish. I suspect the aromatic profile will improve in a year or two, and this will certainly prove a stayer. 89
