BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Light ruby to garnet. Clean, elegant nose, with small red fruits and mature peaches. Inviting with hints of minerals, roses, and violets. Medium body, with clean, mature fruit well supported by the refined tannins. Fairly long finish. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Clear, translucent light red. Cherry fruit in sweet, generous, straightforward style; lots of charm, nonetheless. Juicy, jolly, vivid, deep, dense, and bright: outstanding fruit qualities here. Smooth, swish and assured, a great success for the year, with no sense of herbaceousness or compromised ripeness. | 90

Michael Palij | A complete glass of Brunello, with citrus peel, pomegranate, Christmas pudding, plum, and red cherry. This complexity on the nose carries through to the palate, but the worryingly low level of acidity means that this will develop very quickly. This is a satisfying and rich Brunello designed for early drinking. | 86
