BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | Slightly cloudy, the nose also a touch dissonant; palate is a little stringy, Giacometti on a diet; green- and red-apple notes, lacking concentration and joie de vivre. | 84

Andrew Jefford | Mid-depth of black-red but seems to be clearing a little now. Sweet and warm with both savory richness and hedgerow freshness. Mid- depth of cherry-plum fruit in fresh, brisk style; a pleasant wine. | 85

Charles Metcalfe | Light, fresh, quite evolved nose. Pleasant, and an altogether lighter weight than some others. Flavors are gentle and ripe, without undue extraction. This is gently earthy, with red fruit flavors, very easygoing tannins, and good but restrained acidity. The finish is soft but not very long. | 84
