Nicolas Belfrage | Deceptively light and bright. Delicately scented and attractive on the nose. Restrained and delicate, yet full of flavor and scent, this is a fine bottle of Brunello. Nothing is overstated and yet it is totally satisfying. Long and elegant, this is Montalcino at its best: Pinot Noir style. I want to drink it now. | 97

Bruno Besa | Pale garnet to light tawny. Wild strawberries, refined nose with dried roses and fresh herbs, super-elegant, with a complex mineral character. Medium body, mature red fruit with a weightless, clean finish. Another classically crafted Sangiovese, with medium-term potential. | 93

Andrew Jefford | Clear, deep cherry-red; relatively light for the vintage. Fresh, sweet, and warm, with some vanilla-tobacco charm; secondary already but appealingly fragrant, with no off-notes or evident failure of ripeness. On the palate, it is relatively dilute but well crafted, with modest sweetness and cherry-fruit charm. A pretty short-term wine and an attractive buy if well priced. | 84
