Nicolas Belfrage | Deepest color of first flight; hardly any turn. Nose hints darkly at good things to come, but for the present it’s sitting tight. But it has class written upon it. Forceful though not excessively so on the olfactories. Confident entry, grabs the tongue with dark-cherry and red-berry flavors. Good concentration and firm tannic /acid foundation. Has the quality and character to last well. Drink from 2022. | 94

Bruno Besa | Deep garnet to tawny. Mature, broad, red and black fruit nose, a touch dominated by the pronounced oak. Mature, clean, and balanced palate, with big yet refined tannins and a long, clean, mineral finish. Needs a few years to balance itself. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear black-red. Burnished red fruits and an animal warmth make for an exuberant aromatic profile. This is a wine with some concentration on the palate, and a little more flavory richness and roasted warmth than some. Exuberant in style, almost fleshy, with well-rounded pomegranate fruit, acidity in proportion, and soft textural wealth. | 86
