Nicolas Belfrage | Medium deep color, hints of garnet on the rim. Attractive, almost candied (marzipan) nose. As yet undeveloped on the palate, firm tannins and acids, plenty of fruit behind but not showing now at its best. Probably needs four or five years in bottle but will be good. | 90
Bruno Besa | Ruby to garnet. Clean, intense, mature black and red fruits nose, with morello cherries, crushed stones, smoke and forest undergrowth. Balanced, medium to full body, ripe cherry fruit palate, with a long, clean, sweet fruit finish. | 92
Andrew Jefford | Dark, clear black-red in color. Fresh, fleshy, sweet-edged aromas; impressive poise and refinement here. After a while in the glass, some grassy notes emerge, underscoring that freshness. Vivid, dry, limpid, mid-weight and mid-levels of concentration, too, but the balance is well drawn, and the wine consequently offers fine drinking qualities built on a core of classic fruit. A hint of vermouth herbs in the finish. | 85
