Bruno Besa | Garnet to tawny rim. Open, complex, slightly animal nose, with petrol, wild red fruits, fresh herbs, violets, and roses. Medium body, classic, layered, and complex on the palate. Long, clean, weightless, and refined. This is a great, classic Nebbiolo. | 96

Stephen Brook | Slightly pale in color, but that’s not an issue with Nebbiolo. Subdued but charming nose, with discreet raspberry aromas and welcome lift and precision. Medium-bodied for Barolo but has some grip on the mid-palate. Yet it remains sleek and silky, with a fine-grained texture and a long, delicate finish. Subtle rather than overt but has good potential. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Bright, deep, glowing rose-cherry; translucent. A little cardboardy on the nose; beneath that, there is compost, rosehip. Lifted and articulate, if not for me completely pristine. Let’s try another bottle. Bottle 2: Cleaner for me, with sweet plum and rosehip fruit. Light and graceful on the palate, if a little sweet and simple in the final analysis. And on the palate, there is still something that strikes me as not quite pristine, so I’d put my score in brackets. (84)
