Bruno Besa | Deep core to garnet. Open plums-and-cassis nose, with fresh mint and violets, fairly complex. Medium to full body, with layered, fine tannins and clean, fruit-driven finish. Needs time. | 93
Stephen Brook | Lively floral red-fruits nose, brisk and charming. Sleek and brisk attack, too, with a fine vein of acidity cutting through the palate. Concentrated but not to excess, this has excellent balance of fruit and tannin. There’s force without aggression, and depth without surliness. Approachable now, but it will surely age well. Long, with admirable vinosity. | 94
Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear black-red. Very herbaceous on the nose, and citrus-perfumed too: Cascade hops. Ditto on the palate. Not a failure, but rather odd in character and requiring a vineyard rethink. | 82
