BUY THE WINE

Gerard Basset: Medium green-yellow. Mineral with some delicious baked apple on the nose. Rich and lively, with beautiful exotic notes on the palate, and a long finish. 18

Marcel Orford-Williams: Sweetish, lacks fond. Some flavour but short. Pleasant enough. 14

Roy Richards: Cream, petrole and rather self-confident, this is a rich wine, but with definite terroir and length. Urbane and refined. Turbot in a cream sauce would be perfect for it. 17
