Gerard Basset: Medium-deep green-yellow. Candied, stony fruit, with some pineapple. Rich but still very lively, baked fruit in retro-olfaction, medium finish. 14

Marcel Orford-Williams: Quite sweet, sulphury, not especially clean, alcoholic. No. 9

Roy Richards: Noticeably paler, this smells of barrique. Not so on the palate, where it is poised and well balanced; agrume and a little white truffle. In the context of most of the others, very good. 16
