Gerard Basset: Medium silver-yellow. Quite earthy and mineral nose, with some bruised apple. Very ripe structure, with plenty of baked fruit in retro-olfaction. Medium-long finish. 15

Marcel Orford-Williams: Very good nose, ripe with some concentration. Some sweetness but the balance is good. Salty, mineral and long. Almost tannic in its structure. Needs time. Very long. 17

Roy Richards: Peach/nectarine, some honey on the nose, slatey and well-balanced on palate. Not the dizzy heights of the Riesling de Rorschwihr Cuvee Yves, but very sound. 15
