Gerard Basset: Medium -deep green-gold. Sweet spicy fruit, expressive lychee character. Very ripe but beautiful retro-olfaction with candied fruit and perfumed flowers. Long finish. 18

Marcel Orford-Williams: Ah! At last, something truly decent. This has a lovely smell: rose petal etc. Full-flavoured, generous, rich, with some complexity. Good length. Lovely. The sort of Gewurztram iner that my wife would thank me for on a Friday evening. 18

Roy Richards: Cream, lychee, this must be a VT, and it is delicious, without having the race and excitement of the Roily Gassmann Gewurztraminer and Gewurztraminer Kappelweg de Rorschwihr. 16
