Jancis Robinson: Red/garnet. Thought corky at first, but it seems to be a bit of oxidisation. Some fruit hidden behind decent fruit on the palate, though, with spicy, oaky notes, and decent length with no noticeable oxidisation or drying out. Just a bit ‘hot’ on the finish. 14.5
Jeremy Watson: Glorious, deep, rich ruby with pungent fruit and tannic aromas. Black fruits in the mouth are resonant. Good length. All in all, a fabulous wine that has outstanding elements. 18.5
