Jesús Barquín: Pale gold. Austere on both nose and palate, with good acidity and overall cleanliness and definition. Not opulent but very pleasant to drink, especially when one enjoys the process of discovery rather than expecting an overprocessed product. Give it time. 89

Andrew Jefford: Bottle 2: Pale gold. Soft, subtle vegetal notes with some floral interest, but shy, shy, shy. Vivid, fresh, and long; a plant-sap finish. But not over-taut or tight; despite its trim lines, this wine has structure, length, and poise. Pure and sustained to the disappearance of the final pixel; a very good effort just held back from a top score by its excessive aromatic restraint. 85

Richard Mayson: Pale to mid-straw; slightly honeyed aromas, with a touch of lanolin on the nose, a little bit like old-fashioned white Bordeaux; very fresh and crisp on the palate, with a touch of oaky astringency rising on to the finish. Balanced overall but disjointed. 84
