Andrew Jefford: Very pale; a kind of green-silver. A bit raw and hard; aromatically ungenerous. Not a great success. 10

Simon Larkin : Slightly deeper appearance. The nose reveals im pure citrus fruit, muffled and imprecise. There is a fruity accent on the palate with lively lime but no great dimension to the fruit. Again that pithy quality of bitter grapefruit that has been noted several times. Short-lived and lacking in harmony. 11

Alexander Scott: Similar nose to Wittmann ’s Westhofen Aulerde. Are we in the same viticultural area? Ripe but lacking character and complexity. Soft, sweetish and slightly flabby palate, if one wants to be critical. But there is still pleasure to be had here. 13.5
