BUY THE WINE

Simon Field: Expressive nose, the colour flushed with youthful intentions. A fairly straightforward wine, with tannins and black fruit eloquently counterpoised by a purity of flavour that will soften gracefully over time. 15,5

Andrew Jefford: Red-black, mid-depth and viscosity. Fragrant, sweet, warm fruits, blowing on a summer wind from the south. Vivid, vibrant and friendly, though without quite the extractive power and muscle for the longest term. 15

Richard Mayson: Good deep colour, purple rim. Rich, open, opulent aromas, with firm, middleweight, spicy-sweet fruit. Firm, spicy length. 14
