BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Muted but tangy nose, has Mosel typicity and a mineral edge. Quite fresh, good attack; plump fruit, succulent; light acidity on the finish, pretty rather than structured. Modest length. 14.5

Andrew Jefford: Bright green-gold. Bottle one: rather dank and sulphurous. Bottle two: earthy, dank style, not wholly clean. I consider this faulty. 5

Jancis Robinson: First bottle very badly TCA-tainted. Second bottle by no means brilliantly expressive. As though a high dose of sulphur is still masking the aroma of this medium-dry wine. A bit dull overall at this stage. Old-fashioned German wine. Drink 2008-13.12
